Bereavement

Members of this Committee correspond with the deceased's family with a care package and by writing cards to them periodically throughout the next year on dates that have been proven to be important.  The parish supplies cards and the Committee member assigned to a family is asked, if possible, to make a visit at the funeral home.  As part of our annual All Souls Day Commemoration, a Mass of Remembrance will be offered for those who died within the year.  The families of those who died will be invited to participate in this Mass in a special way.
